Terms of use

1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms govern the use of the Xtalvi app. By creating an account, with Google or with email, you confirm that you have read and accept them. They are complemented by the Legal notice, the Privacy Policy, the Cookie Policy and the Content and copyright policy.

2. Minimum age

You must be 16 or older to use Xtalvi. You expressly confirm this when you sign up. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will delete it together with its data.

3. Your account

If you sign in with Google, we only receive your email address and profile name. You are responsible for keeping your Google account or credentials secure and for all activity carried out with your account.

4. Free plan and subscriptions

Xtalvi offers a free plan with limitations and ads, and a premium subscription billed monthly (€2.99) or yearly (€25.00), VAT included. Payments are processed by Stripe.

The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) and the current price is charged until you cancel. We will notify you in advance of any price change.

You can cancel at any time in Profile → Manage subscription, without contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid and you will not be charged again. No prorated refunds are given unless required by applicable law.

When you subscribe, you expressly agree that the digital service starts immediately and acknowledge that you therefore lose the 14-day right of withdrawal (Art. 103(m) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007).

5. Your content

You remain the owner of the content you enter or upload (expenses, comments, receipt photos, images sent to the chat, reviews). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, process and display it only as needed to provide the service: for example, showing a receipt to the people you share an expense with, or processing an image with the AI assistant if you send it.

If you post a review on the website, you authorise us to display it publicly with the name you provide.

You warrant that you hold the necessary rights to your content and that it is lawful. How to report illegal or infringing content is described in the Content and copyright policy.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Xtalvi for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, upload illegal or offensive content, access other accounts without authorisation, impersonate others or damage or overload the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

7. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Profile. We delete your personal data, except data we must keep by law. Any active subscription is cancelled when the account is deleted. Accounts with no activity for 12 months are deleted automatically.

8. Nature of the service and liability

Xtalvi is a tool for recording and organising expenses. It is not a financial, tax or investment advice service, and AI-generated analyses are for guidance only.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. If the changes are material, we will notify you in advance by email or in the app. If you do not agree, you can cancel your subscription and delete your account.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence.
